Kusuri Memo Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Kusuri Memo (hereinafter referred to as "this application"). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information.
1. Information we collect
This app saves the following information on your device.
- Medication name, dosing schedule, dosing record
- Notification settings
- subscription status
- Photo of medicine (only on the device)
In normal free usage, medication details and medication records are managed within the device. Only when using server functions, we will send the minimum amount of data necessary to provide the functions.
2. When using the server function
The following information may be sent to Supabase when you use the WatchShare or Account Protection Restore features:
- shared code
- Medicine name
- Date and time of taking
- Dosage status
- Encrypted backup for restoration (code/display name/addition date and time of medication definition, medication log, and monitoring list)
Monitoring shared data is used only for the purpose of providing monitoring functions. Backup data will be used only for the purpose of ensuring safety during restoration and migration. Deleting the watch list will also be reflected in the cloud backup. No photo data will be sent. In addition, internal identifiers and status information for subscription coordination and protection functions may be saved. Photos and medication details are not included.
The production database is operated on Supabase in Japan (Tokyo region).
Explicit consent is required before enabling health data processing such as cloud sync/restore, regardless of location. You can withdraw your consent at any time from the settings screen.
For disaster recovery, server-side data is periodically updated to the standby Supabase project. The standby system is operated only for recovery purposes and follows the same access control model as the production system.
3. Third Party Services
This app uses the following third party services.
Used for monitoring shared data synchronization, encrypted backup storage, and cold standby disaster recovery operations. The production database is operated in Japan (Tokyo region).
Privacy policy
Used for crash/diagnosis reports for defect detection and improvement. It may contain technical information such as device information and app internal identifiers necessary for research, but will not be used for tracking for advertising purposes.
Privacy policy
This app does not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. If we introduce anonymous usage indicators in the future, we will limit the data to a minimum amount that does not include medication details, and update this policy before introducing them.
4. Children's privacy
This App is not directed to and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
5. Data deletion
You can delete your account and all related data directly from within Kusuri Memo.
- Open Kusuri Memo in your terminal.

- Delete account and dataTap.
- Approve the deletion on the confirmation screen.
Data deleted:All medication records, medication logs, cloud backup data (medication definition backup/monitoring list backup), account information.
Data retained:We only retain pseudo-anonymized confirmation records for up to 5 years as legal proof of deletion consent. This record does not include health information or personally identifying information.
Photo data is stored only on the device and is not subject to account deletion. You can delete them from your device's photo library at any time.
6. Photo data
Photos of medicines are only saved on your device and are not sent or shared to external servers.
7. Security
We have taken technical measures to protect your data. Watch sharing data is sent over an encrypted connection.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. When changes occur, we will notify you by updating the app.
